Table Bay Chenin Blanc | Western Cape, South Africa
Good value, entry level Chenin Blanc showing nice fruit and balance.
Grapes are sourced from Paarl and Western Cape regions, of granite and sandstone soils.
The hand harvested grapes are de-stemmed and three hours of skin contact was given. The juice was cleaned using flotation before fermentation - great care is taken that only clear juice is used.
The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15 days at a cold temperature and a selected yeast was added to achieve the fruity style.
