Tribaut Blanc de Chardonnay
100% Chardonnay and Extra-Brut, produced from terroirs in the Valle de Brunet – Romery, Fleury la Rivière and Cormoyeux.
This floral, mineral cuvée is blended with 20% wines from old Chardonnay wine, aged in large oak casks (foudres).
It is matured for 36 months sur lie before disgorgement and will keep for a further 3 years; dosage is 6 grams of sugar per litre.
Since 2019, Tribaut has been one of the first Champagne houses to convert to fully organic growing – a rarity in Champagne and something that for the large Houses is almost impossible.

Its light nose shows good freshness and reveals citrus aromas which are distinctly lemony. On the palate it expresses great finesse and intense minerality with precise citrus fruits and a touch of honey. It possesses a very silky texture with good length and reveals pleasant buttery and brioche notes on the finish.
“Floral aromas with balanced fruit and notes of pear drops. Lingering finish.” Decanter, December 2023
The Blanc de Chardonnay pairs well with fish or a shellfish platter.
About the Producer
Champagne Tribaut
Tribaut-Schloesser was founded in 1929 in the heart of the Champagne region in Romery, near Epernay. Four generations of the family have now built upon their passion and expertise to produce a range of impressively delicate and refined Champagnes.
Tribaut’s 25ha of vineyards are situated on sunny south west facing slopes in the very best locations between the Montagne de Reims and the Marne Valley. They are planted with the three principal varietals allowing all of their Champagnes to be produced solely with their own grapes.
