Legende Bordeaux Blanc
A 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Sémillon blend from grapes grown in the Entre-Deux-Mers.
Traditional vinification is in stainless steel vats, after about 12 hours maceration on the skins; fermentation is at a low temperature (16°C) with ageing on the lees.
Legendé is a collection consisting of four wines produced by Domaine Barons de Rothschild (Lafite). The range was introduced in the 1980’s under the name ‘Reserve de Barons’ at the request of friends and family. The wines are intended to provide immediate charm and approachability. The grapes are collected from Lafite’s partnership projects in which technical advisors work very closely with growers to ensure the resulting grapes meet the highest possible standard.
Straw colour with glints of gold. The nose is very aromatic and seductive; dominant aromas of citrus fruit, with mineral notes that develop on aeration. A fresh and lively palate with good concentration, finishing on notes of grapefruit and passion fruit.
