Hãhã Pinot Noir
Elegant, juicy and vibrant best sums up this Marlborough Pinot Noir.
Grapes from the Wairau and Awatere Valleys are cold soaked prior to temperature controlled fermentation in a mixture of steel tanks and oak barrels. There is minimal intervention and fining and the juice is matured on oak for 8 months prior to bottling.

Beautifully aromatic – dark berry and black cherry aromas burst forth. The palate is full bodied, juicy and silky smooth, delivering succulent fruit flavours backed by a subtle spicy complexity and long finish.
This Pinot Noir is perfectly matched with tender new season lamb chops, beef, venison or salmon fillets. The winemaker’s favourite is Thai beef salad.
About the Producer
Haha Wine Co. Ltd
Hãhã Wine started when three families who were already involved in exporting apples, meat and seafood, had a chat about adding wine into the mix. Hãhã (a Māori word meaning to catch your breath) was launched in 2011 and based in Havelock North, Hawke’s Bay – with vineyards in Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough.
Hãhã are fully committed to an environmentally responsible approach. All their vineyards, wineries and bottling facilities – based in the famous regions of Marlborough and Hawke’s Bay – are certified as 100% sustainable by Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand™ (SWNZ).
New Zealand was the first wine industry to establish a national sustainability programme. SWNZ started as an industry initiative in 1994 and then was introduced commercially to the whole industry in 1995. Nearly thirty years later, SWNZ is still widely recognised as a world-leading in its approach.
Hãhã now have a team of talented viticulturists and expert winemakers. Over the 10 years of their existence they have achieved many accolades and were named “Most Innovative Wine Company” (Winetech Magazine 2015).
Chief Winemaker Ant Mackenzie has acquired many gold medals and industry honours over an illustrious career that has taken him all over the world. He is a Senior Wine Judge/Panel Leader at the New Zealand Wine of the Year and NZ International Wine Show.
