Folle Blanche – Gros Plant du Nantais

A perfect accompaniment to ‘fruits de mer’, the Folle Blanche grape is a traditional grape of the region around Nantes. It is later ripening that the Melon de Bourgogne used for Muscadet but with greater crisper acidity.

Grapes are grown on mica schist soil in the municipalities of Saint Julien de Concelles and Vallet. The wine uses the first run juice from a traditional pressing, settled by cold stabilization (15°C) then alcoholic fermentation with controlled temperature of 16°C

About the Producer

Domaine du Moulin Camus

The Domaine du Moulin Camus is a family property of 45 hectares located in Vallet, in the heart of the Muscadet appellation vineyard. Created in 1965, the estate is now run by Catherine and François Baker.

Respect for the vineyard is a priority, inputs are therefore limited thanks to the grassing and the use of natural products stimulating the defenses of the vine.
