Born To Be Wild
“Like a true nature’s child, We were born, born to be wild.”
In 2004 Paris Hilton asked permission to use the song in her reality show The Simple Life. The band, Steppenwolf, refused. There are things Rock’n’Roll can’t
accept but Wines n’ Roses do accept the need for sustainable and responsible farming in the environment.
The organic Bobal grapes are grown in poor clay soils situated in the west of the province of Valencia at 700 metres altitude. The vines grow in a ‘continental’ climate influenced by the Mediterranean. The wine spends 9 months in French and American oak barrels.
Bobal grapes have really high levels of resveratrol, an antioxidant and a heart healthy polyphenol, which helps metabolise fats.
Dark fruits with spicy cinnamon and toasted notes. Balanced, fresh and with a full body. Full on tannins with a long and persistent finish.
Best enjoyed relaxing and/or with pasta, rice and red meat dishes.
About the Producer
Wines n' Roses
This band consists of five members. Five friends who met in the world of wine, lovers of good rock ‘n’ roll who shared the same dream: to innovate and to crank it up.
The project has sustainable roots, influenced by their ancestors’ work of the land and the vineyards. The band stands out because of its faith in local grapes which have adapted so well to the land and climate. Far from jumping on the fashionable bandwagon, they have created wines in which the character of the grape and its origin resonate.
