Liefmans Kriek – bottles

Liefmans Kriek Brut is made using a completely different method from Lambic beers.

It is a combination of aged brown beer which is mixed with fresh, whole cherries – every hectoliter contains up to 13 kilograms of fruit. After 12 months, it is blended with Oud Bruin and Goudenband of different ages, further maturing to become more complex and intense.

Tasting Notes:

A deep brown-red hue with a bold but elegant pink head. A luxurious beer balancing wood and almond accents with the lightly sweet and gently sour nature of cherries. Notes of caramel and marzipan give way to a sweet and sour finish.
