Alhambra Especial Sin Lager ~ 33cl Can

Alhambra’s ‘non-alcoholic’ beer Sin (“without”) is brewed in a similar way and with the same natural ingredients to give the same character as their Especial.

During the brewing process certain parameters, such as temperatures and times, are adjusted and controlled. This produces a beer wort low in fermentable sugars, which minimises alcohol production during fermentation.

High quality, natural ingredients enhance the profile of Sin. Carefully selected barley malts, which are responsible for the golden colour and malted cereal aromas, plus the addition of corn to tone down the astringency of the malt. The hops used give the beer a mild bitterness with a pleasant persistence on the palate.

Food pairing:

Careful selection is best: as it contains almost no alcohol and therefore doesn’t cleanse the palate of fats, it is not ideal to pair it with very fatty or heavy dishes, or pork products. It goes best with delicate, mild foods with some toasty notes.

Appetisers, nuts and dipping aromatic sauces. Boiled or baked seafood, non-oily types of fish and poultry. Grilled, slightly caramelised, vegetables and marinated dishes with slightly piquant sauces. Slightly aged and somewhat creamy cheeses like Comté and Parmesan.
